You would be shocked to know that the uncertainty about the future of the show stopped him from buying house in Los Angeles.   Here is what Hugh Laurie, the British Cambridge educator actor says “”I was so convinced the whole thing was going to fail, I couldn’t contemplate committing to any long-term arrangement. I thought a hotel was a safe bet.” Shocked to know, right?

Luckily, his predictions went wrong and House happened to be one of the greatest hits of American television. In an interview, Kevin Reilly, Fox President confirmed the above statement by saying “It could be a direct spinoff or a completely new show”. He also added, “These are not guys who commercially are going to chase something just to announce they have a spinoff and then figure out the show later on”
